A Different Approach to Learning
At Maxwell's Math we approach learning differentely. In the education system children are simply given repetitive worksheets and uncreative, useless projects. But at Maxwell's Math we do many variations of activies regarding math with different tools to increase the child's comfortability with math. We incorporate both unique math activities and traditional math problems to develop fluency.
Customized ​Learning Plans
Every child has a unique way of learning. Most children are variations of visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners. But the Ontario school system teaches thousands of kids all the same mundane way, resulting in children's dislike of math and school. At Maxwell's Math we cater to the way each child learns and create individual learning plans for every student.
Getting Ready for High School
We offer math tutoring from grades 1-10 which develop mastery in mathematics. All of the skills we develop prepare students for the latter half of high school. Even in the highest levels of mathematics proficiency in the times tables, fractions, decimals, etc. is extremely important. We provide the basis used for some of the most influential years of children's educational lives.
